About Us:

The purpose of our Cyber Program is to offer students an online learning option. We are proud to meet the needs and wants of students and their parents in the same quality academic environment with which stakeholders have become accustomed. While we hold to the best learning experience is our in-person schooling, this option is available for students seeking the flexibility of an online learning experience.

Instruction:

  • Highly qualified, certified content teachers (required to be teaching certified, unlike cyber charter schools)
  • Streamlined organization of content to help students visualize their own progress & prioritize learning time
  • Instruction that aligns with PA State Standards to ensure high-quality content is delivered across all settings
  • Online course catalog aligned to in-person catalog.
  • One-on-one virtual support
  • Ability to pursue unique talents and passions
  • Individualized learning path designed to meet students at their learning level and promote student ownership
  • Ability to work at your own pace
  • paper/pencil work and activities provided for K-4
  • Synchronous learning opportunities available (K-6)

Student Services: 

  • Monitoring of student progress

  • Ability to accommodate and modify to your child's needs
  • Principals, teachers, special education and counselors support the transition back to brick & mortar setting
  • Higher academic achievement scores than cyber charter programs
  • Flexible school schedule
  • Full-time - attend school asynchronously from anywhere (K-12)
  • Full-time - attend core classes synchronously (K-6)
  • Honors, CHS, and AP course offerings
  • A Canon-McMillan Diploma

 

Course Offerings:

  • Traditional core K-6 classes (English, Science, Math, Social Studies)
  • Expansive 7-12 opportunities to match traditional school electives.

Communications:

  • Frequent communication and feedback from teachers
  • Response time of 24 hours or less
  • Messages integrated in platform
  • Tutorial sessions as needed
  • E-mail and phone conversations
  • Daily progress reports sent to parent/guardian e-mail
